 Job responsibilities
• The candidate will collaborate closely with the development team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), providing expertise in infrastructure and deployment processes
• The candidate will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline daily routine tasks, including deployment, testing, and monitoring processes.Additionally, he/she will monitor and manage various environments, including production, to ensure stability,  reliability, and scalability
• The candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security best practices, optimizing performance, and striving for excellence in the Bank's internet-facing applications environments. He/she will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, maintain documentation, respond to incidents promptly, and continuously evaluate and improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security
• The candidate will also provide training and mentorship, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain a customer-centric focus
 
Required qualifications 
• Hardware: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with hardware components such as disks, RAID arrays, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
• Operating Systems: Proficient in Linux operating systems, including expertise in kernel management, process handling, and service configuration
• Networking: Deep understanding of networking principles, including dynamic(BGP, OSPF, etc.) and static routing, switching, firewall(NG, Zero Trust, SDWAN, etc.) configuration, and proxy server setup
• File System: Familiarity with file system management, particularly with ext4 file system, including partitioning and maintenance
• Application Deployment and Management: Experience in deploying and managing applications on Linux-based systems, utilizing tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Keepalived for clustering and high availability
• Protocols Proficiency: Thorough knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP, including packet analysis and troubleshooting
• Web Server Administration: Proficient in configuring and maintaining web servers like Nginx, Apache, and HAProxy, including load balancing and SSL/TLS configuration
• Web Application Security: Understanding of web application security principles and best practices, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
• Cloud Platform Management: Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Storage, GCP Functions, DNS configuration, and VPN setup (OpenVPN, IPSec, etc.)
• Monitoring and Alerting: Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools such as ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, DataDog, and Google Monitoring for real-time system performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills with Bash, Python (basic), and Groovy, as well as experience with automation tools like Jenkins
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, including the use of tools like Ansible and Terraform, for automating infrastructure deployment and management
• Git: Deep understanding of Git
• Databases: PostgreSQL(high availability, clustering, percona, patroni, etc.), MongoDB(high availability, clustering), Object Storage (Minio, CEPH, S3 compatible storages, high availability, clustering), CloudSQL
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001 is highly desirable and considered an advantage
